I have something to confess guys. I am not one of those people who can easily balance being “healthy in moderation.” Through many years of trial and error I have figured out that I am a very obsessive person and basically eats super duper healthy for about 2 months or so and then has a week of eating kinda/pretty badly. Well, I have just come out of one of those weeks which I call my “grace period”. Been eating a ton of carbohydrate and sugar rich foods and ended the week with several bags of chips.
I used to beat myself up for having these unhealthy weeks but I honestly feel as if I come out of them stronger and more motivated than ever. And it is only one week out of two months or so of great eating (I do have a cheat meal once a week though).
Let’s hope I kill the next few months with amazing eating (especially since uni is out for the summer in a few weeks so I can COOK my own food) and Jillian Michael’s Body Revolution :D

If any of you are thinking of giving it a go then please, get out there and try it! The workouts are so much fun and you don’t feel bored for a second during them. Plus they leave you really sore the next day …
Haven’t been eating amazingly, but I have made sure I haven’t been overeating so that is good. Gotta start eating less starchy meals again next week and getting some more protein in.
On a less happy note I hurt my ankle yesterday playing futsol so I am not really sure if I will be able to do the cardio portion of my workout this week … ughh, we’ll see what happens and hopefully it will recover quickly :)

I have had a lovely (yet not particularly healthy or low in calorie) weekend of not counting calories and I am ready and raring to get started on my new workout and resumption of healthy eating (with treats in moderation) again.
Gotta get in even better shape for formal and summer :)
